The Manager puts every project's board in one place, so you can see where all the work stands without opening each project in turn.
Opening it
The button beside the project picker, drawn as a small grid, titled Manager — every project's board. It takes over the whole window, the way Settings does. The back button or Escape leaves it.
What it shows
Every project's board, read at the same time and merged by lane name: a lane called review in three projects becomes one column holding the cards of all three. The header says it plainly — "Every project's board, in one place. Opening a card goes to it."
The Manager only reads. Editing a card, moving it and running its step all happen on the project's own board. Orchestrators are left out: they are not projects, and the boards they work on are the ones already here.
Narrow what you see with:
- Filter cards, a text search.
- Project: Every project, or one of them.
- Lane: Every lane, or one of the lane names found across your projects.
A tally beside them counts what matches as you type.
Opening a card
Click a card and devpit switches to its project, opens that project's board, opens the card, and closes the Manager. It closes because otherwise it would sit on top of the board it had just opened.
When a board does not load
The other boards still appear, and the one that failed is named with its reason, rather than leaving a gap you would have to notice yourself.
With nothing to show yet, the Manager says: "No projects yet. Add one and its board shows up here."
