Usage and plan limits

What your sessions cost, by day, model and project.

Settings → Usage says what your agent sessions cost, by day, by model and by project. The totals are worked out on this computer, from the transcripts your agent CLI writes.

Choosing what it counts

  • 7d, 30d or 90d.
  • Installation: All installations, or one CLI installation on this machine. One that bills elsewhere is marked (not billed by Anthropic).
  • All projects, or only the project you have open.
  • Rescan, which reads the transcripts again.

Plan limits

A bar for each quota window — labelled like 5-hour, Weekly and Weekly · Opus — with how much of it is used and how long until it resets. devpit reads these using the sign-in the Claude CLI saved on this computer. Your devpit account has nothing to do with it.

When a limit cannot be read, the reason is shown as it came:

What it says What it means
this installation has no saved sign-in; open claude there to sign in Run claude for that installation and sign in there.
the saved sign-in was refused; open claude there to sign in again The same, again.
this installation runs against another provider, which has no Claude plan limits There are no limits to show for it.
the plan's usage could not be reached Nothing was reached this time. Try again later.

The numbers

  • Est. cost, at list price. Where part of it is not what you are billed, the tile says partly list price, not billed. It is an estimate, not a bill.
  • Tokens, sessions and turns, Active days, and cache reuse as a percentage.
  • By day, a bar chart you can read as Cost or as Tokens.
  • By model and By project: tokens, sessions and cost for each.
  • Recent sessions. Scoped to one project, it also lists "This project's cards, by what their runs cost."

The footer says how many transcripts and messages were read and how long that took. Days are counted in UTC.

Usage and the board

This page is about sessions. A card is about its own work: it shows what its runs cost, and every agent step carries a spending cap of its own. What a session you drove by hand cost is never written onto a card.
